The Baptism of Maya and Mia
The christening of Maya and Mia was a spiritual event, with family and friends. At home we do not have a religion, but if we believe in GOD, I am Catholic but my partner has no religion and making the decision to baptize our daughters was not very complicated. We reached the agreement that we would baptize them under the Catholic church, but knowing that latter on our girls will choose a religion if they wish. We also reached to the agreement that I would choose their godmothers from New York and my partner would choose their godparents from Los Angeles. At first, we wanted to baptize them in New York but it was difficult to travel to take the classes that the church asks as a requirement. So, we decided to baptize them in the Placita Olvera in Los Angeles and we loved it...
At home we’re just trying to raise our babies with values, we know that we believe in God and that we pray as a family. Here I’m sharing some pics of our beautiful and spiritual moment

El Bautizo de Maya y Mia
El bautizo de Maya y Mia fue un evento espiritual, en familia y amigos. En casa no tenemos una religión, pero si creemos en DIOS, yo soy católica pero mi pareja no tiene religion y tomar la decision de bautizar a nuestras hijas no fue muy complicado. Llegamos al acuerdo que las bautizaríamos bajo la religión católica pero que ellas más grandes tendrán la opción de escoger su religión si quieren. También llegamos al acuerdo, que yo escogería sus madrinas de Nueva York y mi pareja escogería sus padrinos de Los Ángeles, al principio queríamos bautizarlas en Nueva York pero se nos complicaba viajar para tomar las clases que la iglesia pide como requisito. Así que optamos por bautizarlas en la Placita Olvera en Los Ángeles y nos encanto…
En casa tratamos de implementar valores a nuestras hijas y cuando de religion se trata, solamente sabemos que creemos en Dios y que rezamos/oramos como familia. Aquí les comparto unas fotos de nuestro evento espiritual y bonito.
